hi there QLers..this is the time of the year where beach bum like me is always looking forward to this much awaited season..back home, since it's a tropical country, we have the best beaches that's frequented by both foreigners and local tourist alike..our beaches (like the famous boracay) was a must-see because it has white powdery sand, pristine crystal clear waters and the place was like heaven on earth...now since i can't be able to go there..i wanna know if there's any beach/resort/pool here whether it's public or private where we can enjoy, bask in the sun, go with my peers (take note boys and girls) and we can don our itsy bitsy bikinis..errrr...one or two piece swimwear in which we will not fear of being caught by the police and send to jail or get any weird looks from others..tnx

for water sports/swim, Fuwairat, Al Ghariyah , Umm Bab (dukhan) are almost junk beaches, no soft sand, almost flat beaches with pebbles …. :( ;

Sealine resort beach is OK somewhat and the best (of available) is Mesaieed Beach (beyond sealine resort, passing few Kms into desert)- natural, swim-able, private

Other good option-Hotel's beach. Most big hotels with beaches offer day rates for casual visitors, whilst others require full membership of hotel-run beach clubs. Hotel beaches are cleaned daily, as well. Public beaches may have debris left by the tide. More often than not, the beaches have no signposts, directions or dedicated parking areas. To reach them, you often just drive to a town or village and stop when you reach the sea.

Sealine Beach resort is good. except it has lots of jellyfish... Inland beach is better. Clean, quiet, with privacy, no rude and nasty people, etc...
