Music scene

I have posted a few times on getting a band or getting musicians to jam with and although I did meet a bunch of good players it never ended up nowhere. One thing I am tired of is that bands always play the same covers. I love to hear that old classic here and there but I get tired of the same thing. I had a few bands in Canada and never did more then 3 covers, it was all originals. I think Doha would embrace new blood. Garvey's had some open jam nights and I have been there and it's a nice turn up of people, so a great place to test the music. I am trying to find musicians (bass, drums, vocals, keyboard, rhythm guitar) to ether play some of my compositions, or some of theirs. I like rock mostly but have played in all types of bands from acoustic duos to death metal. As long as it's original. I also had a French Canadian band so I am up for any language.

If you're seriously looking to form a band then maybe we are having same interest.

I am a bass player, and maybe we can try to play your originals.
