need to party

Hi people

I have landed into Doha 10 days ago from Dubai.

I am struggling to find out why had to leave my job in Dubai and come to Doha, I guess there are no logically answers to certain decision you take.

Anyways, thats history here I am in Doha and getting rocked by doha.

i am used to rocking the place I live in and that was the case even in Dubai.

here in Doha I find that there are no good place to party on the weekends. I am really in desparate need to find a place where I can party on the weekends.

I have read comment about qube but apart from that there is no other place which I have really heard off.

Can someone help me in finding the places where I can spend my time on weekends. I have no reservation on the kind of place till the time there is music, drinks and good looking pretty babes

There are events here in Doha rather than clubs dedicated to a certain genre of music.

Depends what you are into.....

But there is a fantastic line up with Fatman Scoop - 3 times Grammy Winner at an event at the Diplomatic Club Tent (Near the Rizt Carlton) on the 7th June. Have a look on previous threads in the Socialising Section of this Forum.

I personally cannot wait for this one - should be a blast.

Why did you move jobs if you were so happy with Dubai? Did you not do your research first about Doha - it is a little like Dubai was maybe 10 years ago in the clubbing scene - but it is improving!!!!!!

There is not one club in Doha dedicated to proper clubbing, like say peppermint or trylogy with proper DJs.

There are alternatives tho, Global DJs or exclusive invite only private partys with the best DJs in doha & various international DJs...

Check the link http://www.globaldjs.org to see nights we have done here in the past year, the next one is with judge jules on june 7th http://qatarliving.com/node/13638

Or txt GDJ to 5948760 to recieve info on all the latest events & partys that we are involved in.

mir83..the clubs here are crap compared to what they have to offer in Dubai!

dinkyw....really? I find Dubai more laid back and friendlier than Doha. Have found it easier to meet locals as well.

A plastic city full of plastic people. it takes a long time to find friends that like you and not what you can do for them.

Are the clubs listed above really that charming compared to Dubai?

How do you describe the Night life out here?

u came to the wrong place...

But that doesn't mean that u won't find entertainment here ...

People creates the good and the bad times for them selves..

Go to Rydges.. it's a cool place ..small but still working with me .. music, drink sometimes cool babes ...

and search for the night life here in doha ... There is a good night life and people r telling me that they r living a good night life ... actually i prefer to sit behind my computer most of the time as a programmer and computer geek .. that's my way to spend time...

in sheraton from 8pm til 10pm (i guess) they have live band and the singer is 3 young ladies. I cannot recommend you but just in case that you dont have nowhere else to go.. you may consider the place.

If you just compare entertainment & parties, Yes... u have landed on a shitty place. But Doha is family heaven. The wife know her man is not going to get anything good outside.
