Party night at most of the hotels.

Check Time Out Doha or Qatar Happening for listings.

could be great if you like to have fun; in 11 years we have spent here 4 End of Year and we got enjoyment all the times. Arranged a big party at home is very easy, special food for the occasion you will find evertwhere, wine and alcohol, even fire works; if you don't like to spend the night at home you can join an Hotel, many of them prepared a special night on the 31st with life band, fancy decoration, special food etc etc.

Ciao

Right. normally private party in the house gather with families and friends.

we usually celebrate new year in hotel like Ritz Carlton and Sheraton they have a countdown there so either celebrate in the house or hotel.

then as usual next day report to the office.

there may be some private parties, but that's about it. In the past the authorities have frowned on any public celebrations.
