Pakistani elected as world detective chief
Pakistan has been elected president of the World Association of Detectives, Inc (WAD), a government announcement said yesterday. Brigadier (retired) Rashid Malik, the chairman of All Pakistan Security Agencies Association, was elected chairman in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, earlier this week. With origins dating back to 1921, WAD is the oldest and largest association of its kind in the world. It remains the foremost International Association of Professional Investigators and Security Service organisations with more than 800 members from 80 countries around the globe. Malik, a qualified security consultant, is also a member of the American Society of Industrial Security.
