best place and world famous place is Industrial area....u can find hundreds,thousand of friends..or on fridays move to nationalOR akai roundabout.....lots of friends are missing you ,waiting for you..especially in industrial area...Best of luck

The humidity isn't to bad yet because the heat hasn't really picked up, last night after night fall it was horrid!

At least I had my banana/kiwi smoothie and now a cup of coffee for the extra energy. Keeps me awake during weather like this.

So 6:30am every day crowing and booming. Nonstop.

Speaking in terms of the chicken he is calling out to his fellow chickens.

This can be translated as "we are here!" and then he joins up with them.

as for dune bashing/camping well i do organize trips with friends and we do make it twice or 3xs a mth(weather permitting that is). so for now am waiting for the weather to improve some then will start our dune trips/camping (it is so much fun i tell ya)

What do you guys usually do? I'm always at work, but since I found QL earlier today; it's perfect to fill in these slow summer days. I've heard business picks up during September/October, and that most people have fled from the heat this month.

I still need to check out the Souq, and about these night clubs; which one do you find the friendliest people at? I'm interested in meeting both locals and expats!

And I'm interested in all types of music (DJ'd in Holland), cultural sights, and I'd definitely want to go out into the dunes at some point. Sand-Boarding and Off-Roading sound like a blast! I've got plans to go kite sailing next month (or October) depending on the wind.
