where's lively in doha these days?

I am a 25yr old Uk single male coming out to Doha in early September. My dad lived in Doha for about 4 years so i know it fairly well and remember going to Rydges bar (with the pool on the roof?) another one which i think was the Intercon (lots of palm trees and vegetation around the pools) and of course the rugby club.

I know its going to be Ramadan in September but would love to know where's lively these days and what i can look foward to as its been nearly 4 years since i was there!
