Youth entrepreneurship forum held in Doha

A two-day ‘Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum’, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among the younger generation, is being held at Qatar University (QU).

The event, to be held under the patronage of the Minister of Energy and Industry, will feature international experts in business, education, finance and government as keynote speakers. 

The conference themed ‘fostering the new generation of entrepreneurs in Qatar and the Gulf”, will be at QU on February 24 and 25. 

It aims to bring together young, prospective business owners with established business leaders to encourage and support the spirit of entrepreneurship in Qatar and the Gulf through practical advice. 

Speakers opening the conference will be Dr Al Sada; Professor Sheikha Al Misnad, President of QU; Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Chairman of Qatari Businessmen’s Association, and others. 

Business experts who will be leading panel discussions and delivering keynote presentations during the forum include: Sheikha Hanadi Nasser bin Khaled Al Thani, Chairperson of Injaz (Qatar), Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki, CEO of Khalifa Fund (UAE), and many others.
