Vodafone Qatar offers free data on WhatsApp messaging

Vodafone Qatar is offering WhatsApp data for messaging and sharing pictures, videos, documents and voice recordings for free for its consumers and enterprise customers during Ramadan.

Postpaid customers will receive an invitation SMS and can respond with 1 to avail the offer. Prepaid customers can activate the offer through Happy Offers by dialing *123# or calling 123.

“Ramadan is all about togetherness and for that, we’re offering one of the most used apps in the world for free so our customers can stay close to their families and loved ones in Qatar and all over the world through our strong network,” said Mohamed Al Sadah, Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone Qatar.

Vodafone’s network is now stronger than ever. In April this year, a team of independent network analysts arrived in Qatar to travel the main cities, town and roads to assess the network performance of all the country’s network operators.

Each operator was ranked on call quality and clarity, data speeds, latency, YouTube, and web browsing performance.

Vodafone achieved the overall highest score, earning the ‘Best in Test’ certificate from P3 Communications, an international leader in mobile performance testing.
