Family visa period extension from 2017

Hi Every one, i heard that from next year on wards family visit visa will be extend to 1 year from 6 month, did anyone have any idea of this rule. kindly update your valuable comments, suffering a lot by sending my wife every six month. thank you in advance for all.

Yes I've heard that this new law will come into effect around October 2016. But I know for a fact that some people are already getting visit visas that are valid for a year.
Not sure about Family Visit Visa will be extended from 6 months to a Year but know for sure that Once your Family Visit Visa Expires, you can exit the country & reapply again the next day- Grace period of 3 months to Reapply Family Visit Visa is no more active past last year!

Never heard of it. Government earns money, so it will not be done!!
my brother in law told me and there is a law for this to implement from next near. he want say blindly without checking properly. but i searched in all new feeds in qatar but could not find.
Where did you hear this ? please tell us because it will benefit many here
