Writing quality items needs time, patience and effort. It involves real work. It is not just like those one-liners which make no sense but get posted just for the sake of writing, line after line, days after days, weeks after weeks...

Equin0x: Agreed. Let his name be written in golden and block letters in the text books of Qatar Living. Let is appear on the first page of such a book whenever it gets written. However, I have some questions:

1) Why does a person need to misguide people? Many posts at QL are seeking genuine advice and help and to write sheer nonsense just for the sake of writing does not justify the act. If one is not being helpful, why misguide? I have pointed this out several times whenever I realized Molten Metal was misguiding some one through one of his comments.

2) Why write something that is nonsense? The comment last Friday on the new Pakistani embassy building is a glaring example of this. Does advising someone who is being kicked around by his employer and is begging for advice from QLes to comment, "employers are like fathers and one must treat them accordingly...wait 'three days'" make any sense or is correct?

3) Why use insulting language on others? I have several links where your "hero" Molten Metal has overstepped the boundaries of decency and has insulted me in black and white. And I am not the only one. I have used the powers of my pen to take a stand albeit in an educated, polished manner never overriding the boundaries of decency . I have never, ever insulted him. The others have simply overlooked such attacks preferring to stay quiet rather than argue with Molten Metal. It reflects their maturity.

4) I hate to say it, but some of his posts are hard to believe and fall within the category of simply "lies." The "usual" offer that he with his team he would go looking in the evening for a lost ring on the beach or a wallet in a particular area, is clear evidence of this. Many new QLers get to believe and welcome such support, hardly realizing the truth behind such offers. A ray of hope develops within their minds. Have you ever come across a feedback either ways from such "searches?" I have never! They were never carried out in the first place, as I see it. Why give such false hope to people?

The list goes on...!

Every social media blogger have their own way of taking on the matters and issues, so if you maintain patience and positive positions, you would never be entangled and locked into ego battles.

AB and many others too have their own upsides and talents, so we should not discard them either.

Without any offense and with due respect, MM is a man of his own class, he is a different individual and unique in his own. He is most of the times, open and more than welcoming, according to the observation of many.

He is perhaps the only individual, who is has given a far more time (rather unparalleled) to QL than any other commentator.

His company to the QL and visitors is something that should be cherished.

And Yes, at times, we are at odds with our blogs, comments and even ourselves, because we are human beings with inbuilt habit of making mistakes, errors and misjudgements.

Best is the man, who likes to make mistakes and then learns lessons in order to avoid them henceforth.

Whenever the text book of "Qatar living" shall be written, his name shall appear thereon.

I have too have the qualities of "identification & recognizing genuine talent and also a perfect eye to pin point the real pearl, the pure 24 carat gold."

Just a couple of days back one such "real pearl" had posted his comments over the construction of a new building for Pakistan embassy terming it as being a "burden on the economy!" It had me ROFL that day and I am still ROFL till today. Then again yesterday this "real pearl" commented the Indian Ambassador's view on credit cards saying "His statement is similar to a politician!" And this morning the "real pearl" commented that "No animal is attracted to these drug things......it's only men & women!"

The "real pearl" definitely keeps me ROFL daily with his posts!

I enjoy having him around.
