Dear Qatar Living Members,

A query about the arrival visa for Indians, one of my cousin sister is planning for a visit to Qatar from KSA, Being Indian she can get visa on arrival, She is coming here for exit so that her KSA family visit visa can be extended. The question

1. Will, she be having any issues coming from KSA alone being female travelling solo?

2. She does not have a debit or credit on her name, will this be an issue?

3. Is hotel reservation mandatory? Is a dummy booking sufficient?

NOTE: She will be staying at my place for a week, I am here with my family.

Awaiting your valuable answers and suggestions, tips, etc.

Thanks in Advance

Thank you for your valuable advice :)

For Item 2., since she does not have a debit or credit card in her name, have advised her to carry her husband card along with marriage certificate.

3. Yes, we are going to book a dummy hotel reservation, in case they ask for it.

We are booking a confirmed return ticket.

1. I am not sure if she will have problem in KSA. But, while entering Qatar, there is be no issues for female solo traveler.

2. Yes, it is mandatory to have a credit or debit card in her name. Else, she needs to carry 5000 QAR. Proof of fund is a must for on arrival visa.

3. Hotel booking is not mandatory. You can give copy of your Qatar id and address to your sister. At immigration, she has to tell your address when asked "where will you stay" and show your Qatar id. She can also tell that you are her brother. Alternatively, you can book dummy hotel room from booking.com.

One more thing you need to note is, she has to show her return ticket as well. Hope this helps.
