Abolish POEA and OWWA - Online petition

To all Filipino expatriates here, I think its about time we address this topic. The POEA and OWWA has not really made life easy for us. The abuses has to stop. Thank you!!

i agree abolish it they are not helping us [O.F.W] their just feeding our money corruption is the word.
or renamed, but don't even wish it will be abolished. Learn the whole system first and then decide.As for the OEC, I was an OFW in China for two years and travel back and forth eevery two or three months. I never paid my OEC so I pay a travel tax, no discount. So if your only concern is OEC, don't bother to get, but pay a travel tax and undiscounted travel tax for your spouse and children if they are with you.And what is this specific difficult thing OWWA and POEA are imposing to OFW Qatar?
this is a movement started by an article in Philippine Daily Inquirer (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/21871/exit-clearance-an-ofw%E2%80%99s-nightmare). It has begaun and let us feed the fire and let us not stop until this abusive agencies are reformed or removed altogether. They could start by making the processes online and repealing that OEC crap of theirs!

count me in.... but to MSG, i don't agree with you to go to india... i still love my country, it's the best place to live.
100% agree to abolish this kind of foolish agencies, why not come to INDIA without POEA but thier Gov't willing to help them at all time.
I totally agree about giving us a hard time but I think the goverment should start changing the system of POEA & OWWA. IMHO
im agree. its the same system as when we go to POEA and OWWA in Manila..
This should have done long time as POEA and OWWA only take money from us poor Filipino workers who are working here in Qatar to earn money but instead of making our life easy...its not!
