Hello,

I am in the process of looking for a great new nanny position overseas and I'm trying to research potential places.

There are many jobs in the Middle East including positions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain and Qatar.  I have been to Dubai many times on holiday and really love it there but want to try and get as much info as possible on the other places before making a decision.

I have had a recent interest from a family in Qatar, hence joining this site and wondered if anyone can give me more information on working and living in Qatar, especially off other nannies who are working there at the moment?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

some Qatari's do have professional nannies, although rare.

important to establish working hours etc... prior agreeing to a position.

From what I've seen most familes have filipino or local maids. They seem to just do everything for the kids rather than be an actual nanny. Not saying it's right, just what I've seen..

Nannies are rare in Qatar, your mostly likely to find families hire "maids" here...
