DATAFLOW AND EVALUATION OF NURSES IN QATAR

Hello,

Could someone explain the process of dataflow and evaluation of nurses in qatar to me? I am asking because the whole process is not clear to me. I am a registered midwife. I worked in Saudi Arabia as a midwife for few years before moving to Qatar. I applied to have my papers verified by dataflow, the result was not given to me. I was employed as school nurse in a private school. My employer requested an evaluation from SCH. It was stated in the letter to my employer that SCH could not evaluate me due to lack of qualifications to practice as a nurse in the state of Qatar. This is where my confusion lies: does the statement means my dataflow result is negative or it means  I cant work as a school nurse because I am a midwife. I tried to verify what the statement means from SCH but no one was ready to attend to me.

I believe that if I had applied to work as a midwife in a hospital, the feedback to my employer would have been different. I have now completed my degree in nursing at university of calgary in Qatar but I am worried about going through the process again. Remembering the statement "lack of qualification to practice as a nurse in the state of Qatar" terrifies me.

Do you think it was because I was a midwife trying to work as a  school nurse? (I know this is awkward, but that was the only offer I had then and I did not want to be home not working). Or you think it could be that my dataflow result was negative. If dataflow result was negative, what can I do?

I had diploma in midwifery and now BScN. I just dont know how to go about the process again. I am worried that my previous record could be a barrier to obtaining a license to practice now.

Anyone who knows about the licensing process in Qatar well should please advise.

Thanks a lot.
