Good Day. I am calling all filipino workers in Qatar, specially nurses. I received, just recently, a package offer from a certain health care company in Doha. Below is the offer:

Salary
Staff Nurse (Grade 2)
Basic
QR 1,460

Optional Overtime (2hrs extra)
QR 410

Optional Friday Overtime (minimum of 2 Fridays / month)
QR 200 as per clinic requirements

Accommodation Allowance
QR 700 or provided at our option

Transport Allowance
QR 200

Food Allowance
QR 300

TOTAL SALARY
QR 3,270
So what do you guys think of the offer? Is it enough?should i accept it? BTW im a registered nurse here in the Philippines, an ICU Charge Nurse for 3 years now. your opinions will be highly appreciated. tnx. god bless

No Deal kapatid.. Offer is too low.

Try Hamad, they give a real goof package, search for more..

Less than QR 4,000 in a month would not be worth the pain of leaving home, don't convert this to peso, coz you will be spending rials here.

All the best!

the offer is very low, don't take it/no deal... if you really want to work in Qatar try to apply in govt hospital, their salary offer is 2-3 times higher that what is being offered to you...

Qatar cost of living is very, higher that Dubai especially housing & food, you will suffer if you will accept that offer...

You violated Point no:13 of Terms & Conditions...,....

Ghazals...They don't even give good health care also....Very worst in Qatar..They dont even touch you for check up... They know only which costly medicines are covered under insurance to prescribe.

By seeing this offer, its very much understandable to anyone that they are very poor pay masters..

I think they brought all worst doctor for cheaper rate...

While the non-Filipinos at QL came in with their piece of advice in ENGLISH to help out a Filipino so that all readers could benefit from the information being provided, ALL threads so far posted by the Filipinos are in their own language so that others could not understand. It is indeed a very sad outlook of the world when one is living in a multicultural and multinational environment. Such simple actions send a message that the Filipinos want to live in their own world and not allow others to enter and share even in small matters like this one. It is indeed very sad!

Basic Salary & OT.......QR 1,460 + 410 + 200 = 24,840 PHP, not bad if u are in the Philippines.

Housing allowance.....QR 700 = only as good as Bed spacer here.

Kaso hirap pag tag-init.

Specially kung may long term plan ka of bringing your family here in Qatar. Besides po, tumataas na ang mga basic commodities dito sa qatar. Yung mga breakdown po ng allowances na naka state for your accomodation and tansportation ay hindi po sapat. Don't settle at this po, because you deserve something better.

Nagmamalasakit lang po ako. Kung gusto nyo po talaga dito sa Qatar, Try nyo po mag apply sa government hospitals such as Hamad Hospital, nag nago-offer ng mas magandang salary package. Tnk u po and God bless!

Hello Japoy, in my opinion it's a "No Deal" - for a registered nurse you could get a much better offer other than that. That's way too low an offer for a nurse. If that may be negotiable try to ask for basic of at least Qr. 3,500/Housing Qr. 1,500/Transportation Qr. 1,000

The 700 and 200 housing and transportation they are offering is not really fair for a cost living, most especially the 200 transportation it's a big no no, it has to be at least 1,000

Sobrang baba ng offer na yan :( ....yet still yes it depends on you....like jazz said pagtyagaan for stepping stone, however if you would consider that make sure you have the option for an issuance of NOC from them - you would need that should you decide to change work later.

Best of luck :)

Good luck..and think before you move... :)
