Does anyone know if a new elevator has to be certified by any outside agency (third party/Govt. dept)? If so who?

Ask TUV, 4369299....i think they do 3rd party certification, also Velosi just check their number...

i think its connected with karamaa or qatar testing for machinery.

I think so like the civil defence....

but maybe they will do it in general, like if the building new.
