Hello, I have some questions regarding job offer in Qatar, Doha. I have an offer wich is negotiable for working in wellnes center, I would work as a swimming instructor, massage therapist and fitness instructor. I have wife and small kid(1.5years old). My question is, how much QAR should I ask for and how much would be enough to live there in 1-2 Beadroom appartment, plus I would love to save some money on the side?! Thanks in advance for the informations.

Or, 10,000 plus a two-bedroom apartment provided. 10,000 is a MUST for family visa.

The public transport system in Qatar is not reliable. Cabs are pretty expensive and can charge you more during traffic hours.Initially you could rent out a small car and start searching for a second hand car.

Ok, thak you for the quick answer. We wouldn't live on some "high leg", we planed to live normal life there, to cook for ourself,(buy normal grocery, not so expensive) to have normal appartment with 1-2 bedrooms, and save up some normal amount of money. Tell me one more thing, what is the cost of transportation? And what would you recomend for us(Bus, taxi or rent-a-car) remember we have 1.5 year old baby, so what would be the best option for us? Again thank you for the quick answer.

First thing is you are not eligible to get family visa (rp for wife and kid) if your monthly salary is less than 10000 QAR. The food expenses here in qatar are affordable and depends on ur preferences. main cost consuming is the rents. If you opt for a 1BHK, u ll get it for about 3 to 4k QAR. 2BHK will caost u around 4.5 to 6K (max 20k/month)depends on location. negotiate for 12k atleast so as to survive comfortly.
