Job Opportunities for CDN female expats in Doha

I may move to Doha with my husband and 2yr old daughter as he may have a job oppty for a 2 year position. I'm wondering what/if any job opportunities for a female, Canadian woman once I get to Doha? Do I need to be sponsored? Would employers consider me if I do not speak Arabic? In order to make this move worthwhile, I'd need to work and we'd have to put our daughter in daycare.
Thanks.

Thanks, what is considered a good monthly income? I've read a lot about 20K, but I have no idea if that was annual or monthly. Seems pretty steep to be a monthly? Tx.

Arabic is not compulsory..One shld know ENGLISH well atleast if u r an expatriate...Your husband will be the sponsor for u and for ur baby, so just dont worry about this..You can apply ur cv to the concerned places suiting ur qualification..BEST LUCK and HAPPY JOURNEY..

it is better u try to get a job from where u are then to try after coming here. In any case, there are many opportunities here like schools, embassies, internaltiona business houses. But depending on hubby income in essential if things does not work. So if his income is bare minimum, u better work out the expenses b4 u land here. It can be a nightmare if his pacakge is not good as almost everything is expensive esp medical costs (again there is good gvt hospital and u can get access after getting the health card).
