maximum allowed weight for check-in baggages
By brownsailor •
hello to fellow kabayans,
i am homeward bound... any updates from the Qatar airways for maximum allowable weight of baggages on Doha-Manila flights? and how much will be the fee charges per kilo for excess baggage?
your help and advice is highly appreciated.
i think that depends on the country destination, correct me if i'm wrong :)
hi! just want to ask what documents they will ask from you if you are flying from bangkok to doha
thanks!
I agreed with you Mary. Qatar Airway's ground staff is hell annoying.

Even less aggravating - travel on a "real" airline like Emirates. Economy class passengers on transatlantic flights get 2 bags @ 30kilos each. Other routes 1 bag 30 kilos (but their website may have variances to that generality).
I will never fly Qatar Airways again - their customer service skills (especially ground staff and their customer relationship people) are the worst I've encountered anywhere in the world.

Boy did you hit a nerve with me on that one.
ADVICE: Do your homework and weigh your bags before going to the airport!
I love QA BUT their allowances for weight are truly a disgrace.
Doha - Manila you get a measly 20 kgs.
Every extra kilo over you must give your first-born child.
get the Privilege club card and you will get another 10 kgs after you 1st flight. QA is running a racket on excess weight charges . The fees are extoriotionate.
I remeber they wanted something like 20 british pounds for every kilo over from london. Can you believe that ? 20 pounds for ever damn kilo? EXTORTION ! Dont be an idiot. weigh your bags before flying and avoid getting ripped off by QA.
some responses...did you check the info provided at that time.
