Police clearnace for Qatar RP
Hi All, Hope all of you are doing fantastic. I got a offer from Qatar. And its pretty decent offer for with 23K total salary. I was said by my HR to get PCC ( Police clearnace) from India. I tried to contact my local Police station about that seems that even they are ( Police guys) are not sure about that that. As per HR person from Qatar, I need to get PCC from local Police station and get it attested at Ministry of External Affairs . If some one here has some exp for this process then Please let me know. Another question is what if I try to get PCC after arriving at Qatar? Is that possible as I think that this process is less trivial for me.

My passport is issued from my Native place while I have been working at some other city for more then 1 years.. I was wondering about follow procedure for getting PCC in this case!!
PCC can be easily obtained from the Indian Embassy in Doha without much ADO. You have to fill in the form with 2 photographs and submit at the Indian Embassy along with your passportin the Morning on any working days. You will receive the PCC on the very next day after 5 PM.
Getting an Employment Visa Directly From Qatar Companies dies not need any PCC. PCC is required only if you are working already in Qatar and you need a Employment Transfer. Please Re Check with your Proposed Company HR for more information. However, if your Potential Employer has a Practice of issuing Employment Visa only after Getting a PCC, please apply to your Regional Passport Office and then Get it Attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Thanks !! Do you really think that since PCC is being issued with Passport office then still we need to get it authenticated from MEA ?

It will not be from the police station it has to be done from your local passport office. From their you will get the PCC and then you can get it attested from MEA. You can get more information from http://www.passportindia.gov.in
