same nationality maids are not allowed for sponsorship, like philipino can not sponsor philipino maid.
local hire means what? i am looking for one currently but agency fees to hire asian maids is 8000 riyals one time plus visa cost etc. there is no guarantee of the persons capabilities anyways, seleciton on portfolio of pictures and CV.
any further well informed advise would be appreciated.

Don't bother wasting your time and money. She will just run away or find a better paying job when she gets here. She is just using you to get a leg in the door. Hire locally.
