Description

Reporting to: School Principal

Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Psychology or related field, previous experience working in the same role for a primary school or any other institution working with children; possession of skills to perform essential job functions.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- Help students function effectively in the school environment

- Assess areas in which students may require assistance or counseling

-Communicate with parents, teachers and administrators

- Maintain accurate case files and reports to track student issues and progress

- Assist in remediation by providing treatment plans or counselingEvaluate student transcripts
