Description
1. Plan and prepare activities and materials ahead of time.
2. Set out activities before classes and tidy up afterwards.
3. Speak to parents and/or carers about their children’s development.
4. Monitor children’s progress, and identify and deal with any issues.
5. Attend meetings and training courses.
6. Work closely with other professionals such as social workers on child protection issues and teacher’s assistant.
7. Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes.
8. Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.
9. Organizing and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc).
10. Monitoring and recording progress.
