Land Surveyor 
Gridscan W.L.L - DohaFull-time

Responsibilities

• carrying out surveys and checking possible effects on the environment
• producing a map of the land, using GPS and surveying instruments
• using digital images and satellite photos to create maps
• collecting data and using geographic information systems (GIS) to analyze it
• monitoring whether the land has moved during construction or by natural processes
• drawing charts and maps using computer-aided design (CAD)
• Performed detailed field surveys and oversaw the activities of field survey crews in performing the survey.
• Maintained accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
• Researched previous survey evidence, maps, physical evidence and other records.
• Attended project meetings, providing input, evaluating and managing the required field survey work.
• Organized, managed and executed the QA/QC plan and coordination for projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Land Surveyor
• Good knowledge in using modern survey equipment Total station GPS Auto Level, Digital Level (Leica, Geomax etc.)
• Strong computer skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Precise and detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work outdoors in sometimes physically demanding conditions
• Capable of reading and comprehending schematics and blueprints
• Strong knowledge in Total station and GPS.

A technical test will conduct upon interview.
