Description
The learning and development specialist will be in charge of developing and delivering training workshops for external stakeholders including business, governmental and semi-governmental organizations. In addition, the learning and development specialist will be required to work hand-in-hand with the case study analyst and research analyst to provide talent development workshops for QU students and external stakeholders. The specialist is also expected to engage in consultation services and other responsibilities to support the strategic plan of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Organizational Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify learning and development needs of stakeholders.
2. Develop learning and development strategies in alignment with the center’s overall strategic plan.
3. Develop appropriate learning and development materials.
4. Deliver learning and development workshops to stakeholders.
5. Provide consultation services to stakeholders.
6. Consult with research analyst and both case study analyst and faculty to develop relevant training programs and human capital development workshops.
7. Track budgets for learning and development activities and negotiate contracts.
8. Assess learning and development activities and suggest improvement plans.
9. Perform other tasks and duties.
