Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tracing and Tracking of shipments
- Monitoring freight to ensure account parameters are being met and delivered on time
- Communicating with freight management carriers and clients
- Proof of delivery and shipment status
- Managing customers - both suppliers and vendors
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Finding opportunity for additional sales and up selling to current customers
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
- Updating and entering in all information in the Transportation Management Database
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- 1-2 years of prior experience in Transportation and Logistics
- Prior experience with Transportation Management databases is not required but preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and service oriented
- Strong Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Multi-tasker
- Works well in a team environment
- Computer/Tech skills are a must
