Ø  Managing a team of 60+ Engineers for MEP, ICT/ELV and Specialist Systems commissioning and handover programs.

 

Ø  Organize and follow up meetings with all relevant parties ensuring client’s satisfaction with quality project delivery.

 Ø  Ensuring energy saving commissioning and operational methods implemented in accordance to LEED and GSAS. Preparing commissioning analysis report with suggestions for rectification.

 

Ø  Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans. Responsible for ensuring quality assurance, document preparation, testing-inspection and relevant handing over process.

 

Ø  Responsible for implementation of project quality management plan. Responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking project time lines and milestones. Responsible for reporting higher management, client and end user operator with simplified project progress reports.

 

Ø  Organize and follow up technical meetings between site team and design team for progress updates and resolving technical issues. Coordination among suppliers, PMC, and site team for T&C inspections and approvals.

 

Ø  Ensure effective and satisfactory handover of systems and facilities with appropriate training procedures and relevant handover dossier development detailing the assets, operational and maintenance procedures and schedules.

 

Ø  Ensure implementation of effective maintenance schedules for improved facility performance and equipment life cycles. Address work orders support teams for technical clarifications and issues.

 

Ø  Responsible for implementation of preventive maintenance programs. Assigning & updating daily corrective maintenance (CM) and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) log. Making defect reports and Action taken record. Action daily work order. Monitoring the site safety. Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.

 

Ø  Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance that the quality of machine, equipment, or plant maintenance operations, including those carried out by third parties, is in line with reference standards.

 

Ø  CAFM and Helpdesk operations development, monitoring and enhancement as required to suit the business and project requirements.

 

Ø  Sound knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, building automation/controls, building design and construction process. Extensive knowledge of mechanical control systems, installation, and operation of complex systems. Analysis of commissioning and design codes and interpreting for applicable acceptance criteria. Sound knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards, Qatar Civil Defense Regulations, ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, ASTM, CIBSE and BSRIA, particularly for Healthcare Facilities.

Ø  Documentation development for commissioning i.e. Commissioning plan, commissioning method statements, checklists, commissioning trackers, etc.

 

Ø  Documentation for handover stage such as project dossier template review and development, compilation of reports and data for handover dossier, asset registry template review and development, O&M manuals review and development, Training schedule and manuals review and development, and guide teams for action of compilation and development of handover dossier and its elements.

 

Ø  Commissioning management and authority for organizing, scheduling and witnessing Pre-commissioning, commissioning and system integration tests.

 

Ø  Responsible for all HVAC, Plumbing-Drainage, Electrical LV-ELV, ICT, Firefighting and Fire Alarm systems along with special systems such as Elevators, Escalators, Travellators, Conveyor belt systems, Pneumatic tube system, kitchen equipment, swimming pools, water features, etc.
