My passion for accounting and finance has driven me to become highly organized and self-driven Accountant hailing from Sri Lanka, I bring over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, complemented by a robust educational foundation. 

 

As an accountant from Sri Lanka, I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc),Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, along with ACCA-Skills Level Reading. My professional journey has spanned various industries, including government procurement in electric power generation, food and beverage services, real estate and construction, both in Qatar and Sri Lanka.

 

 Throughout my career, I have demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of financial tasks and oversaw, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and optimization of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes. Noteworthy accomplishments include the successful reduction of outstanding payments and efficient oversight of asset management, inventory management,salary related works, tax compliance, and budgeting initiatives. I take pride in my meticulous approach to financial record-keeping, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data at all times. Moreover, my experience extends to collaborating seamlessly with external auditors during annual audits, facilitating a smooth and efficient audit process by providing comprehensive documentation and explanations. My proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Tally has further enhanced my ability to streamline financial processes and drive operational efficiency.
