i think the best thing is I ask my company to provide me accomodation rather than the allowance. In this case, company provides 2 options,
1. Ezdan Hotel Appartments
1 Master BR shared with another collegue
2. Somewhere in company's accomodation, shared with another collegue.

you can rent 2 BR for QR 7500 and sublet 1 Romm for QR 3000. that way cheaper & nicer :)
