Hi Barani84,

I really don't know whether they will provide food allowance, but it's isn't stated in the salary package.

Also, I don't know what does it mean in Qatar when they say accomodation is company provided, do they mean a room and food or just a room???

Hi!

Thanks for your responses. I think based on your inputs, the salary is pretty low, but none has told me how do translators get in Qatar?! By the way, 5500 QR is the salary of a university prof here in Morocco with a PhD and who has just started.

I also need the input of Moroccans living there, cause they know better how do we live and what we eat!

I think also I need to mention the name of the company, I'll be working with Gulf Supplies and Commercial Services, maybe there are employees in that company who can tell if there are any career advancement in the future.

Regards.

hi rabie

i think the scale is fine as they are also giving you the accomadation where as if you compare the rents in qatar are very higher starts at least from 3500 onwards.

& also you are a fresh graduate

or if you dont want accomodation than will you get the house allowance?

wish you good luck!!

He is a fresh graduate and everything is provided by his company. He is single as well, so please don't tell him that he can't save anything at all ... Will he spend the 5500 eating the whole month?

Sometimes you guys need to get real, what a fresh graduate should expect more than that? Instead of scaring him try to help.

Forget it. And to the one's that tell you that you will save so and so much, they don't live in this world. If they do it, they are then barely existing. And why work if just to exist.

If you eat out, you will probably spend 50-100 QR/day. Extra activities Gym, cafe, and ect. will be 500-1000QR/mt.

Since the accommodation is paid, U may be able to safe 2000 QR/month

If U cook at home maybe saving up to 4000 QR

cheers
