are engaged couples but not married (non-qatari) allowed to roam freely in qatar

Hey guys can you help me to know whether you can roam freely in Qatar with ur going to be spouse? I am talking about the non Qatari couple because my friend he's from the U.K He is engaged but his going to be is staying in Qatar with her family.So would like to know if he can go and stay at her place along with her family ofcourse and can both of them go out freely to roam or is it not allowed?? please reply

i forgot to mention that he is jst going for visits to Qatar and not stay together but may be a day or so along with all the family..He works in UAE but will be coming to visit so will there be any problem???

Well i jst want to know exactly coz it shudn;t be like the saudi rules.. They are engaged so i dont thnk so there shud be an problem coz her parents r there and they are not goin to break any public rules..??

roaming around is not a problem at all here in Qatar, as far as you respect the law and limitations. I mean kissing and touching in public but living in depends on the situation. If there is no complaint, everything is ok, but legally it is not allowed to live together, if you are not married.

Ive seen plenty of couples roaming around qatar without anyone paying attention to it. Though as far as the living together part is concerned, I certainly wouldnt want to be there when the census came around if I were them.
