My mum is moving to Qatar in August i have booked my flights to visit her for 2 weeks with my boyfriend. Somebody told me that due to religion my boyfriend would be unable to stay with us in her apartment due to religion issues. Is this true?

Hiya!

I visited my friend (male living alone) in Doha and we were ok! No-one bothered us or asked us any questions and I enjoyed a really good holiday :) Like the others have said, just enjoy yourself

Enjoy your stay in Qatar and be a "normal" couple as you are both staying in your mom's place anyway. Just don't show too much PDA in public. Just be "one of the normal expats" here. And if the locals ask, just say you just got married.

Cheers!

The best thing in this country is if you keep a low profile nobody will bother you. Since you will be staying with your mum it is okay. Do not worry and follow as advised by Hasan Shaikh.

Dont worry about anything. You can both live in your mum's apartment. Just be creful when you are not in the apartment. If you don't jump on each other in public everything shall be fine. Enjoy your stay in Qatar.
