I came to doha before 2 months. I didn't know that freevisa is illegal so took 1 to get here. It cost me around 18000QAR.I got my RP last week, and the profession in RP is general director. My problem is that I'm under the sponsorship of a company in which I do not work, and the company will not give NOC for 1 year.So it is getting tough for me to survive here without a job. Most companies I tried r asking for NOC.I've enrolled myself to get a driving license.I do not have any idea what to do.I have a 3 years diploma and a B.tech in computer science with 3 years experience. What happened is happened,I dont wish to go to the court or anything. What I need is a job.Or illegal taxi driving is the only way out for me?Can anybody give me some advice?

My goodness, You had spend QR 18000 to come here in DOHA?? You could have used that money to look for better job back to your country itself..That's too much you paid..I am really surprised with your this move..

Anyways, all the best and wish that you get the job soon.

You could put an ad in Gulftimes that you have your own visa and is ready to work. There are many companys that dont have Indian visas so they could hire you or even there is the option of contract positions.

Best of luck may God bless you.

Find yourself a job where changing sponsorship isn't required...then ask the person who arranged your visa for a permission letter from your sponsor to work with other company. That will make you able to work outside for six months which is further extendable to another six months. Once your first year is over, you can ask for the NOC/Release Order from your sponsor through the same person who arranged your visa.

Dear many of them working like this. Don’t worry. Me also under free visa. So first year We should struggle. From my opinion this year don’t go to big companies, you can go small companies as well as part time jobs.
