Car loans
Hi,
Does anyone know if Banks put on special offers during Ramadan for car loans?
I had a car lined up to buy but my bank, Commercial Bank, have increased the interest rate from 1.7% to 4.95% as the promotion finished.
Is it worth waiting until Ramadan or should I just take the hit with the current interest?
Thanks

Thank you both for your comments.
As Ramadan is just around the corner I think i'll continue with my rental and wait to see what offers may come about
I think that is the normal interest charge for car loan, wait till ramadan your bank might have promotion during that time.
You cannot get loans from any bank unless you have your salary transfer with them.
I believe the 1.7% interest only applied for the 1st year. After that it returns back to the standard 4.95%. And yes usually in Ramadan there are good promotions for vehicles and bank loans.
