1)First of all, you will have to close the A/c by giving a request letter. You will be given the balance in the A/c, less any charges according to the Tariff of the bank.

2) Thereafter, you can open a new A/c in Mashreq Bank and continue. However, it is advisable to discuss about the terms & requirements in relation to your Loan with the bank prior to open the A/c.

3) Commonly, you will be required to prove the bank about your repayment capacity to apply for a Loan. Then, they will evaluate your profile against financial obligations and credit worthyness.

Please don't ever blame a bank, just because you open an A/c with them. It is purely based on their Credit Policy and your re-payment capacity.

Good Luck!!

Since the account is less than one year old you may have to pay a closing fee of QR 500. It depends from bank to bank though.
