You could contact the following agencies:

For your question about nice compound (deleted by mod!!):

You can check the following agencies:

http://www.alasmakhrealestate.com/

A-One Real Estate 66703463, 44410851, 44425769.

But have in mind that the market is far to be as organized here. Do not expect for example the agencies to call you back!

I would advice you to check QL and the classified in Gulf Times, call and come to visit the places during the week-end.

Heavy traffic in some areas so you may want to check location of your job/schools before making a choice.

Good Luck!

Unless your chldren's education fees are on top of that salary, I wouldn't even consider moving. I'm assuming you want to send your children to a good school, it ain't cheap here if you have to dig into your own pocket. Please take into consideration school fees, medical insurance, rent, etc. Might not be worth moving...

Some say groceries and dining out is more expensive in Q than Dubai.

What you spend mainly on is rent. The quality of rental properties are worse than Dubai. And if you have kids, the quality of education is not very good.

But in terms of salary you are getting quite a raise, so give it a try.

Agree with drmana, there's a lot of fun in Dubai than here in Doha. On the bright side, you will be able to save some money here.

The cost of living here is pretty much same as in Dubai except for the fact that here there are much less venues to spend your money than in Dubai.

Welcome to Qatar.
