If you are coming as a trainee only for 6 months then the offer is ok. If you are planning to continue and stay for long then the offer is too low. I know you will be getting accommodation and transportation but your expenses for food will take a major portion of what you are getting even if Indian food is comparatively cheaper. You might be able to save arround 1000 riyals per month. Six months stay as Management Trainee is justifiable with the package as you can still save something.

Hi.

I have been offered 4000/month with accomodations, transportation to and from work, duty meals and my uniform (which is to be laundered and ironed by the company). My job will be a supervisor for a day care center, and I have only 4 months experience - 2 months as a nurse and 2 months as a TESOL teacher for children.

I believe that my salary is already low, compared to what I have read in some forums here. So I believe yours is lower, then please think twice about accepting this job offer.

Amchi Mumbai....

Qrs 2000/- is too less but if your a magmt. trainee then it is okay at least they are providing you with some cash and accommodation. But if you get permanent then its way too low... Think of some better option after completing your training..... Better luck for your future!!!!!!

Too law but if they are giving you accomodation you can save 1000 Riyals but it is nothing. This is one of the expesive country to live, Indian foods are cheap.

QR 2000 ?? Too less and shows it's not a good company. I suggest don't come here as of NOW. Don't get trapped into it. I suggest, almost same money you can get in Mumbai too as Mgmt Trainee, earn some good experience there, then join here on your terms in better package.

If you get into here at this stage you may not get quality experinece that can curtail your growth in future.

IF YOU

Are fresh and matter is just for experience its ok for 6 months or one year.

IF YOU

Are from Kerla, it will be easy for you to manage (Kerla food is cheap here) and you will get lot to guide your self. The Salary is ok if you are from there.

IF YOU

Are experienced don't spoil your life.

You can mail me if you need any other info.

Good luck!!

well it is too small and i feel if you are a Fresh Graduate dont come here without experience and be under the MERCY of any body and ruien your life. If you have experience please dont make yourself CHEAP demand at least 6000 to 8000 provided you are offered furnished accomodation, annual air ticket , transport, medical etc.

The cost of living for a person can be about 600 to 750 but i have seen guys managing for as low as 250 and guys from Maharastra are good in managing all this

Well the cost for food depends on what s your taste and choice and you are eating in Hotel or cooking by yourself, usually it will come to 1000 QAR, But if you are fresh and first job its not bad to get that to gain Experience.
