company transport

I was living in company's accommodation but moved out after getting married. The company has refused to provide me with transport and house allowance saying that i should have told them of my intentions of getting married last year so that they could adjust their budget to include my allowances. Am now spending half my salary on taxi every month. My contract says that the company will provide transport and accomodation but the management says since now am married they cant pay me allowance for this now, maybe next year. They even further told me that the company cant go against its policies to accomodate the employees needs bacause here employees dont have rights. All other employees in my company have either transport allowance or company transport except me. My good friends, does the company have the right to do this to me? They told me if i dont like it i can quit but i love my job. I even told them i dont want the house allowance but transport is a must but they said they dont care how i come and go, i violated my contract when i moved out of the companys accomodation. Is it a crime to get married in doha? What should i do?

Your company is right, some companies cannot chenge their policies for one employee, still I think your company is fair to you as they have promised you to arrange if from next year, so try to adjust for this year.

At least u need to inform ur company before u get married. Your company have the right to do all this things because it happens after your marriage. If it had happened before then u will have the right. I think they still provide if u stay in company accommondation and transportation but it is your personal case that you unable to stay. In the meantime if you are paying half of your salary in transportion then I advice you to take car lift. Many drivers available to pick up and drop u on monthly basis in the cheap rate.
