Merry Christmas din in advance! haha.. i totally understand how that feels, buddy.. i really do.. i've been here for 3 months and i am still homesick sometimes.. although my family is with me, my parents and brothers, yet i still feel "home" sick..

well i agree with cofee_addict, make some friends. there are loads of our kababayans around.. i know you've got some friends already..

be optimistic as well, always be postive.. i sometimes get grumpy cuz i get so homesick.. but that doesn't really help huh?

then engage yourself in a lot of stress-relieving activities like exercise with friends, or do what you and your friends love.. i love music.. what i do right now is teach choirs, teach piano to private students, etc. do something out of your passion.. ;)

just don't worry about it.. it's natural.. everybody says their homesick for the first three months.. eventually, you'll get used to this kinda life here in qatar and all will be well.. you've got some friends naman.. and i for one am interested in making new friends here in qatar.. and i love it! it helps a lot.. hehe.. well, ayo-ayo, dong!

kyo tlg! wlang maayos n advice! hay naku mga filipino tlga s qatar!,,,4 u nmn MR. Homesick, all i can say is that open urself to make friends ( kung committed ka na! ) if not e di open urself with everybody kung wla k nmng magustuhan eh di work k muna ng work then go to church afterwards. make urself busy like attending church activities, there's a lot out there like SFC ( if ur catholic) or if ur christian born again there's music minitries, bible studies and a lot more. choice mo madami kang magagawa to overcome ung homesickeness. so go on dude, life is easy.
