I'm a ACCA finalist with just 1 paper pending. My family visa got expired like 6 years ago and now i'm moving back to qatar on a visit visa for 6 months. Is there a chance that i cn get my family residence visa back or i can get a job on my visit visa status?My family is still is qatar and all of them have residence visa. it doesnt matter wether ur born in qatar or not ...ur jus like everybody else, when it comes to settling here......advice....get a job and subsequently a sponsorship visa from ur potential employer subject to rules and apporvement...

As far as I know your expired visa can not be restored, but you can apply for a visit visa or a suitable job visa...
