since you stated on your profile you from UK ... i would give you the fees for DESS (Doha English Speaking School) where most british kids goes. It is 7500 a term and go up minimum 10 percents each year.

For American school would be alot more than that.

A two bed room apartment will not cost less than 8000 QR per month.

A decent school's term fee is around 5000 per term.

Petrol and cars are cheap here.

Don't know about the salary structure may be PM can help you.

You have mentioned housing and children education alllowance as per policies. So you might not be able to change the allocated allowance for the post/grade you are getting job. So the only negotation left will be the basic salary.

Good luck.

Sir...

I will give you hints about prices in doha

1. Housing: if you are looking to rent a two bedroom appartment... you are looking for not less than 5500 Qatari riyals

2. schools are really expensive if you want to give your children good education. not less than than 4000 Riyals a year (depends on the school) ex. american, english, endian, arab... etc

3. basic living expenses for a bachlor (one day hang outs a week) you are looking at 3000QR a month at least.

4. make sure that your job gives you a housing (apartment, Villa) because it is really difficult to find housing in doha if you have a low budget, and if the company is willing to compensate you with a housing allowence, then you better ask for at least 7000QR

Finally, if you want to live a good life and save (which is the reason that you are here) then 14000 QR will be good for you...

if you are american, european... then you better be asking for 30000 or more, because 14000 will do you nothing in your country
