Hey guyz...

I need to convert my South African driver’s lisence to a Qatari driver's lisence.

I posted a question on how to go about doing this and was told to go to "madinat Khalifa police station". (See link: http://www.qatarliving.com/node/252364)

Where is this? Does someone have a telephone number for them?

Thanks...

Wayne

If you are going the corniche road towards Carrefour, you will come across the oryx roundabout.(i.e. near the post office). From there go towards the emigration roundabout. Then as you proceed, after TV roundabout on the right side is the Traffic police station- Madinat Khalifa.

Previously the timing was 07am -1530hrs with lunch timing break around 1300 hrs.

As you are new to Doha, we have no idea which all places you knw, so there wont be much use of giving road directions. anyway please find attached the map

best way is catch a cab and ask them to take you to Madinat Khalifa Traffic Dept. As for their number, i don't it it wont be useful, the easiest number is 999:-) their other numbers are +974 4849525, +974 4849510.
