Moving to Qatar - best way to research on everything!
By shysmiler75 •
I want to make sure that all my research is bang up to date and that I am not caught out on visa requirements, job recruitment etc I have a friend who lives in Doha already who has provided me with some bits but I am looking for some help from anyone who works in the legal sector and can advise me on wages, packages, accommodation etc
Many thanks
The question you asked does not require only a legal expert to answer, the simple way is to explore web site of the leading companies in Qatar go through the current vacancies and apply on line. If you are short listed you will be notified for it and called in for an interview. All the major companies provide free accommodation for 3 months (probation period) and that is enough time to socialize you with the local customs. If you have already been offered salary packages share the approx. value for further advice.

The second option is to visit Qatar on a tourist visa and explore the country first, the local customs, summer is very long and hot and humid, very limited places to hangout.
