what is your position for whihc they offer you this package, because for fresh joiner they will not offer this salary. The One who offer you this package may be he is an indian & talking about Indian Rupee not qatari riyal.you should mention your post on which you are Coming then all people should know & gave you good feed back. dear rock 99:

here's an example of calculation of bachelor living here in Qatar in relation to your salary.

1.accommodation----------------- 5,000

2.food allowance---------------- 2,600

3.transport allowance----------- 1,600

4.alcohol allowance------------- 1,200

5.communication allowance------- 1,000

6.accumulated daily expenses --- 1,000

7.bar--------------------------- 1,650

total--------------------------- 14,050

in this case you need to pay more 50 riyal monthly.

I live in Marat Qadeem. Everyday morning and evening I see QA employees walking to work and back.

Offer sounds to be interesting for a fresher.... Are you sure it is Qrs. 14,000/- or may be it is Qrs. 4,000/- as mistakes do happen on a regular basis with offer in this region. Be careful... All the best!!!

For bachelor, it's enough to have a good life and saving as well.

It depens person by person, 5000 will be morethan enough for food accommodation & transportation.

Hi, Congratulations. Single accommodation currently is in the range of QR 3500 to QR5000 in areas such as Mushiereb where you have all facilities in walking distance. You may get a pool car driver doing set drop off and pick up to and from office for QR 7-800. Car rental is around QR2000/month. Living expenses allow QR1000 per month. This leaves around QR5-6000 in savings. Possible to do more if you can get cheaper accommodation.

Regards

Rsai
