Figures show that 12.6 percent of Qatari families live in rented houses, whereas 62 percent of expatriates live in rented houses

18 percent of expatriates live in accommodation provided by their companies, and 16 percent in government housing.

In the case of Qatari households, only 4.1 percent live in government housing while 82 percent live in their own houses.

Figures released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics show that 91.9 percent of Qatari homes have a personal computer.

Most expatriate households also have a computer, with their percentage being only marginally lower at 91.2 percent.

As for cars, 99.5 percent of Qatari homes own them, while the percentage for non-Qatari households was 91.2.

The above figures were part of the results of a Household Income and Expenditure Survey carried out by the Ministry from September 20, 2012 to September 19, 2013.

The average size of a Qatari household was nine members, while it was four in the case of expatriate families.

Since electricity and water are free for citizens, a Qatari household saved as much as QR1,919 a month by not having to pay electricity and water bills, the survey showed.

Figures not accurate.... how could91.2 % of Expat households have cars if there are thousands of construction workers, sales people, restaurant stuff who cant afford it? And before you comment on my comment bear in mind that household can consist of any number of people including bachelors.
