Question on traffic rule

I am not sure about this traffic rule. Do I get fined if I had crossed the start line while the light was blue/blinking/yellow but it went red before I crossed? I have seen people going like that but do all of them fined? Or is there any margin allowed here?

Thanks in advance and hope this info will benefit all.

If you see green and not blue then it means Go.So when you see green lights flashing then put hazard and slow down to stop before the line. Its always risky to pass after yellow/orange comes up and you are stuck in between line and red lights. So be careful driver!!! (P.S-Putting millions in signal cameras is stupidity and charging on them fines without giving proper training or info to drivers- Welcome to Qatar Traffic Law and Management)

I think you have to worrry about sensors only at signals that are equipped with cameras. I dont think there are any hidden cameras in qatar. Some times over-cautiousness can also cause accidents, like braking suddenly at the signals.

at some country it is forbbiden to cross the traffic light while it is on the second half of the yellow light..

Here in Qatar it is allowed to pass the traffic light while it is Green , Flashing Green 4 sec, and yellow,,

if you cross the white line while it is red the camera will flash on you.. ( you can stop at this time and revese),

but if you continue straight then it will flash on you again when you reach the end of traffic signal area again///

Hope i anwer u well..

Regards.

Before to worry about this you have to check are you colour-blind. Every trafic signal has three lights -green, yellow and red!

i think you escaped if your front tyre crossed when yellow light was blinking and plus if you get fine radar will flash which i believe did not happen.any ways best of luck just check it in www.moi.gov.qa you will get any traffic fines info from this website.

At every signal there is a stop line. just after that stop line there is censors. If your Back tyre passed that censors before the lights turn red u escaped from fine.

Beware in some places this yellow light blinks only a couple of times. Its better take no chance while the light is yellow.
