Hi all,
Do you now whether there is any restriction (aside from the obvious ones such as not in the vicinity of airport or powerlines ) to fly remote controlled model airplanes ?

Also is there hobby shops that sells and service RC planes and copters?

the association/organization is under the wing of The Qatar Scientific Club. and you are only allowed to fly those RC at the designated area at Al Khor airport

There is a store located in City center , third level, west wing. It's behind the Fun Zone (behind the kid's park in the third floor). The store name is something like HOBBY (can't remember well) but there are some others also selling this stuff. Check the link
