Rents should nosedive...

The rents are falling - Halalluyah brothers and sisters!! L for loosers and Landlords :) Even so, the rent prices and conditions are still extortionate for what you actually get and compared to the rest of the world. I beleive this market correction is long overdue but is a very slow process...I feel sorry for those of you who bought at the Pearl and now trying to rent out for 16K....I don't think so, but good luck trying!

I beleived that new villas and flats rents are freezed or

lowered but this houses is only for above average earner how about the old house which is still high based on the structure and oldness of the house ,some owners even increased the rent. Most of the expatriates here are looking for an old house for a cheaper rent but to no avail some are almost same with new flats as old houses are getting lost in this place and there is no alternative low cost housing being built to cater those who are low income expatriates.

Is there a good samaritan businessman to build a very low cost housing somewhere in the desert for the poor expats.

great! as we can see it slowly goes down for a while, but the market is rising again, alot of demolition are ongoing and the government housing does not consider bachelors as I heard. Let us wait maybe after a year more if where this market is going.
