Welcome to Qatar. Don't worry this package is fine to start with... See, everyone has their own style of living, however we need to live according to our present status also... Here's a little break-up.. for a decent living....

House (Sharing apartment / Single room ) 3500

Car - 1700

Phone (try to use the Internet call more) 200

Food - 1500

Internet - 300

Misc - 500

Total 7700... This is a rough idea, nothing hard & fast.. But dont worry this would be plus minus... So u would be able to save around 4-5000 QR... depending on your way of living...

Based on my rough calculation, you will only save QR 1000 every month. If you rent a one-bedroom-old-apartment unfurnished for QR 5500, pay monthly installment for Corolla or Nissan Tiida for QR 1600 (4-years), food+drink QR 2000, gasoline QR 200, hala card QR 200, phone+internet connection QR 233, satelite TV QR 45, then miscellaneous QR 1000 (traffic violation, annual fee of credit card QR 200, social activity, etc.)

You'll save don't worry abt tht. Looking at your previous posts you've even asked for a one room PG accom. Assuming you want to live a "bare min" lifestyle you'll surely save.

Do one thing though - Qatarliving does provide a lot of solutions. Please do some research yourself and not ask basic questions. You state that you are a CA - research a bit prior to asking questions. Welcome to Qatar and wish you all the best.

Nope............. it is not enough. I just wanted to be frank with you....it far below the par considering the inflation rate that Qatar has.
